St. Clair Pachyderm Club
[UPDATE - 6/6/2005] The real (permanent) web site for the group will hopefully be up soon. Regular meetings should begin later this summer. Please subscribe to the mailing list to receive announcements.
Our first meeting was held on Friday, October 29, 2004. The turnout was great. We'll post a recap and some pictures when the new web site is up.
Regular meetings will start in January, 2005. All Republicans in the Metro East area are encouraged to attend.
The St. Clair Pachyderm Club is dedicated to providing a means for Republicans in St. Clair County and the surrounding area in Southern Illinois to be more active and interested in politics. Regular monthly meetings will begin in January, 2005. (Watch this space for more information as it becomes available.)
The core of our group has an interest in technology-related issues, so we expect at least a short presentation at every regular meeting on topics that we would like to see addressed in Washington and Springfield. Of course, we will also cover more typical conservative issues.
